At Children Can, our heart for young people is to see them experience the reality of God and discover the joy of serving Jesus. We want to help them grow into adulthood with faith, purpose and a willingness to take their place in the church. Now is the time for them to be provoked to have adventures with the Lord. We believe young people have something valuable to contribute now. Their energy and enthusiasm can strengthen the whole church, especially when joined with the wisdom and encouragement of older generations. Our desire is to help families and churches prepare young people for increasing freedom and responsibility. Learning to make decisions, accept consequences and seek godly advice is part of growing into the people God has called them to be. We encourage relationships that support this journey, including trusted mentors who can listen and offer guidance. We also want young people to develop the character and practical skills they need to serve others and lead well. Through ministry, training and resources, we seek to help youth grow in their relationship with God and live out their potential in Him. Our heart is to see young people embrace the cause of Christ, grow in maturity and discover that following Jesus gives them a purpose worth living for.
