At Children Can, our heart for under fives is full of expectation: even the youngest children can connect with God and respond to His Word. We love helping churches and families recognise the spiritual potential of babies and toddlers. These early years offer precious opportunities to introduce children to Jesus and lay foundations for their future. Through Bible stories, songs, creative activities and prayers, we can help little ones discover who God is and begin responding to Him. We encourage teaching that is accessible, imaginative and faithful to Scripture. Repeating stories, using actions and puppets, and talking during activities can help children engage with the message. Making space to respond matters too, whether through worship, prayer or saying sorry. Blessing children is another simple, meaningful part of this ministry. We encourage adults to pray over little ones, trusting God to work in their lives. Our Adventures of Teddy books help young children explore following God, while Early Steps with Jesus equips leaders working with children aged zero to four. The course brings practical skills together with a vision for children’s spiritual growth. Our heart is to help the youngest children encounter Jesus as we nurture their faith from the beginning.
