The webinars by Children Can are designed to supplement ministry from families and churches as we aim to take children deeper on their journey of knowing and following God.

This will be an interactive seminar - your face won't be seen but your opinion will.

Who is it for?

This webinar is for children aged 7-11 and their carers. (Children outside this age range are welcome to participate too).

What is it about?

This webinar is all about passover. Passover is a Jewish festival. Jesus is Jewish and celebrated passover. In fact passover points to what Jesus came to do for us. We'll be finding out all about passover, shairng it together and in the process discovering about communion, Jesus' death on the cross and the freedom God now gives us to live with him.

Get ready in advance

We would like to encourage you to prepare a few items in advance so you can fully participate as a family.

1.  Plain crackers (Matzah)

2.  Red juice

For those of you wanting the full experience please also prepare the following:

1.  Candle & matches

2.  Bitter herbs

3.  A boiled egg for each person

4.  Charoseth* (a mix of apples, raisins, almonds, cinnamon)

5.  Salt water

6.  Water & towel to wash hands

*Recipes available online.

For after the webinar we encourage you to play a game of hunt the hidden one (all will be explained). You may want an Easter egg as a prize. You might also want to have a traditional passover meal of lamb together as a family as you reflect more on the webinar.

Who is leading this webinar?

Olly Goldenberg has been working with children for many years to disciple them and release them to make disciplers. He has seen hundreds of children led to the Lord by their peers in schools and believes now is the time to encourage and equip our children to share their faith at school and take the Gospel where it is hard for adults to go at this time.
